Total Athlete Training: Winter Garden, Windermere, & Ocoee's Premier Collegiate D1 Training Program
Total Athlete Training (TAT) was founded in 2008 and is the longest-operating sports performance facility in Central Florida. Owner and head coach Dan Bessetti opened TAT following a successful strength and conditioning career at the D1 college level at the University of North Dakota, Ohio University, and UCF. TAT was born out of Dan's desire to provide our local youth and high school athletes the same level of professional strength and conditioning coaching that he provided his college athletes. Dan was fortunate to experience firsthand the pinnacle of collegiate D1 training—coaching and developing the abilities of athletes that went on to play professionally in baseball, soccer, basketball, and football.
Dan and his team of dedicated strength and conditioning coaches are the most experienced speed, agility, and strength trainers in west Orange County. The Total Athlete Training program is modeled after collegiate D1 training programs but is developmentally appropriate for the youth and high school athlete looking to get quicker, stronger, faster, more agile, and overall more athletic. The TAT experience is unrivaled in the Winter Garden, Windermere, and Ocoee area, combining the best sport-specific speed and agility training with age-appropriate weight lifting and strength training, and seamlessly integrating it all together with flexibility, balance, coordination, mobility, and conditioning. The TAT facility features 30 yards of turf for the longest indoor speed training runway in Central Florida. TAT athletes train with this collegiate D1 training-based protocol realize measurable gains in quickness, speed, strength, and agility, and visual improvements on the court or field when playing their sport...read the reviews!
The TAT athlete training culture makes for a sports training gym for youth athletes and high school athletes like no other in the Winter Garden and Windermere area. All training is by appointment within a like-aged group, and the program is zeroed exclusively on the training needs of the youth and high school athletes. Simply put, TAT is a safe and professional environment for adolescents and teenagers to grow socially, mentally, and physically. Alongside other like-aged athletes, TAT trainees develop camaraderie, social skills, leadership, and confidence. All training sessions are open to parent viewing, and participation in our program is treated as a partnership between parents, coaches, and athletes. At TAT, communication is welcomed, and you will be treated like family—not a number. Whether your athlete is 7 or 18 years old, a high school all-conference performer or struggling to get playing time in youth sports, TAT will help them reach their potential. The TAT training facility serves the Winter Garden, Windermere, Ocoee, Oakland, Horizon West, Clermont, and Hamlin areas.
