Homeschool PE Program in Winter Garden and Windermere

Homeschool Physical Education Through Professional Sports Performance Training

At Total Athlete Training, homeschool families have a trusted home for structured, professionally coached physical education. Our Homeschool PE Program in Winter Garden, Windermere, and surrounding areas allows students ages 7–18 to fulfill physical education requirements while participating in our comprehensive sports performance training program. Many homeschool families utilizing Florida Step Up scholarships (including PEP and UA programs) may be eligible to have training expenses reimbursed as part of their education plan.

Homeschooled students train alongside other motivated young athletes in age and ability appropriate groups, developing speed, strength, coordination, agility, balance, and overall athleticism in a structured environment built on purposeful coaching and measurable progress.

Whether your child is an active homeschool athlete looking to gain a competitive edge or a homeschool student using our program as their primary physical activity, Total Athlete Training provides intentional instruction—not random activity—so students can clearly see and feel their improvement over time.

Homeschool Physical Education Through Purposeful Athletic Development

Homeschool families value intentional education. Physical education should be no different. At Total Athlete Training, PE is not unstructured play or a loosely supervised open gym. Our program is built on a carefully crafted athletic development curriculum where coaches TEACH and students LEARN. Speed, agility, strength, vertical jump, coordination, and movement mechanics are developed together—because athletic qualities do not exist in isolation.

Training sessions are coached with age appropriate progressions, consistent feedback, and periodic performance measurements. This allows students to build real physical literacy, grow in confidence, and develop healthy training habits that serve them for years to come.

As a former Division I collegiate strength and conditioning coach—and a homeschool dad—Coach Dan understands both long-term athletic development and the responsibility homeschool parents carry when choosing mentors and instructors for their children. At TAT, students are known personally, coached intentionally, and developed progressively in a positive, youth-centered environment.

Progressive Physical Education for Homeschool Students

Our Homeschool PE students participate directly in our structured sports performance training program, organized by age and stage of development.

Rookies (Ages 7–9)
Young homeschool students are introduced to physical education through coach-led instruction focused on balance, coordination, body control, and foundational speed and agility skills. Through engaging, structured sessions, athletes develop confidence, learn how to move efficiently, and build bodyweight strength in a fun and encouraging group environment.

Youth (Ages 10–13)
At the Youth level, homeschool students build a strong athletic foundation through progressive instruction in sprinting, change of direction, jumping, strength development, and mobility. Students begin learning how to train with purpose while improving measurable performance benchmarks. This stage prepares both competitive athletes and non-sport students with the physical tools and confidence needed for long-term development.

High School (Ages 14–18)
High school homeschool students train in a focused environment that emphasizes strength, power, speed, and athletic durability. For competitive athletes, training aligns with sport demands and long-term performance goals. For students using TAT as their primary PE outlet, training builds physical fitness, confidence, resilience, and a healthy self-image through structured, progressive coaching.

College Prospect/Collegiate Athletes
For homeschool athletes with collegiate aspirations—or those already competing at the college level—training is guided by clear, age-specific performance standards rooted in Coach Dan’s real collegiate strength and conditioning experience. Objective testing and purposeful programming help athletes understand where they stand and how to continue progressing toward next-level performance.

Intentional Development. Personal Mentorship. Measurable Progress.

Homeschool families often choose education "their way" because they value alignment, intentionality, and meaningful relationships. Total Athlete Training reflects those same values.

Students are not just another body in the room. Our coaches build relationships, provide consistent feedback, and mentor athletes through challenges. We are not a hype-driven, sweat- for-the-sake-of-sweat environment. We teach movement, measure progress, and develop athletic ability step by step.

Many homeschool families utilizing Florida STEP UP scholarships (including PEP and UA programs) are able to have training expenses reimbursed. We already serve numerous homeschool families who take advantage of this opportunity as part of their educational plan.

When you choose Total Athlete Training for homeschool PE, you are choosing professional instruction, structured development, and a community that values growth—physically and personally.
